As noted in the SCMP, Hong Kong NPC delegate Tsang Hin-chi does it again with yet another stupid quote:
“Every Hong Kong person has to support him … Don’t oppose anyone simply because one is not satisfied with some issues”
Yes, brilliant. So let us all learn from that boys and girls: regardless of whether you like or dislike someone, whether you think they are a complete pratt or not, or even if they have done something very stupid… we should support and never oppose.
No wonder we don’t need elections in Hong Kong. Since we shouldn’t oppose anything, the government has kindly saved us the hassle of making the trek to the voting booth and wasting joules of energy ticking a box on a piece of paper. How thoughtful!
